Brisbane Pipe Band has made the very difficult decision to postpone our Burns Night & 70th Birthday Celebration until Saturday 23 July 2022.

Given the escalating transmission of COVID-19 in Brisbane, the committee decided that this was the best course of action to ensure the safety of the band and all attendees, and to provide all attendees with the best possible experience – with current mask mandates and venue restrictions, this was not possible.

We hope by rescheduling to July, the situation will have changed sufficiently to allow all attendees to have a fun, safe night out.

Ticket holders should have received an email alerting them to this change, and advising that you can choose to either retain your booking and have new tickets issued to you for the rescheduled date, or to receive a full refund. Please confirm your preference to so we can arrange this for you.

Brisbane Pipe Band sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused you. We hope to see you in July!

Brisbane Pipe Band is hosting a traditional Burns Night and Ceilidh to celebrate our 70th Anniversary.
Join us for a fun night of delicious food, great company, and questionable dancing (we promise to only film some of it for later blackmail…)!

We’ll be having a 3-course meal – including a toast to the haggis – and a traditional Ceilidh, with entertainment throughout the night from Brisbane Pipe Band, Celtic folk band ISHKA, and a traditional Scottish dance caller.

Get ready to raise a glass and lift your heels – we look forward to seeing you there!
